Hours and Limits
Customers can only book a time you have saved. This page is where you choose delivery, pickup, how much notice you need, and which days you're closed.
Open Sales & Finance → Sales Configuration → Webstore, then select Scheduling.
Delivery and pickup
Under Fulfillment, turn on Offer delivery, Offer pickup, or both.
Offer delivery and the weekday switches are on Scheduling.
Each option has its own weekly hours. Use the Delivery and Pickup tabs.
For each day:
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Day switch | That weekday accepts this kind of order |
| Opens / Closes | The window customers can choose |
| Order cutoff | The clock time after which that service day stops taking orders |
| Lead days | How many days ahead the cutoff applies |
Example from the page: a Monday with 2 lead days and a 17:00 cutoff stops accepting Monday orders after 5:00 PM the previous Saturday.
The copy button on a row (Apply this day's hours to all days) copies Opens, Closes, Order cutoff, and Lead days. It does not change which days are switched on.
Warning
If delivery or pickup is on but has no saved hours, the page warns you that customers can't pick a time. The grid you see may be a starting point only. Turn on the days you serve and pause so the page can save. The warning leaves once those hours are saved.
The Scheduling ring turns green after delivery or pickup is offered, or after you add a closure.
Order minimum and lead time
Under Availability & limits:
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Order minimum ($) | Smallest order you'll accept online |
| Minimum lead time (hours) | Extra notice on top of the daily cutoff. Customers can't book inside this window |
| Typical guest count | Prefills guest count so customers confirm a number instead of starting from a blank field. Leave it blank to show an empty field |
These save with the rest of the page when you pause.
Closures and holidays
Closures & holidays blocks a single day even if that weekday is normally open. Customers can't book a closed day.
The date field is under the weekly hours.
- Close today or Close tomorrow for a quick block
- Or pick a date, add an optional Label (for example, "Thanksgiving"), and click Add
Closures save immediately. They don't wait for the rest of the form.
To undo one, click Reopen next to that date. PrepStation asks you to confirm before the day opens again.
Common Questions
Q: I offer pickup, but the store says scheduling isn't set up.
A: Pickup hours were never saved. Open the Pickup tab, enable the days, and wait for the page to save. Then check that the "no saved hours" warning is gone.
Q: Can I close one holiday without changing my weekly hours?
A: Yes. Add that date under Closures & holidays. Reopen puts the day back.
Q: What's the difference between lead days and minimum lead time?
A: Lead days plus Order cutoff close a specific service day early (Monday's orders close Saturday at 5). Minimum lead time (hours) is a floor on every order, such as "at least 24 hours from now."
